This building was built by W. J. Minnich in 1911. It was originally housed a 2-story livery and carriage sales business. It had a rope powered elevator to store wagons or carriages on the upper floor. The windows on Kansas and Gracia faces were eventually filled in with brick.

The luxurious Odd Fellows Lodge building was dedicated September 20, 1915. The lodge had previously occupied the old miners’ hall which was located at the corner of Kansas Avenue at Gracia Street. At that time the lodge was moved from the miners’ hall to its present building.
In 1949 R. Wallace Pischel of 728 East Gracia Street, Marceline, Missouri started a specialized printing business in his home. In 1888 when Marceline, Missouri was incorporated, the first marshals were Joseph Turner and I.A. Runyon. Others who served as officers were Mike Burns, Wesley Ellis, George Ellis, Bill Conklin, Sam Parker, R.C. Freeman, Calvin Wilson. At this time the Police Department consisted of only two officers. Chief of Police and a night Police.
