Kenneth J. Hustead, age 75 of Laclede formerly of Marceline, died Friday, January 30, 2015 at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, MO. Kennie was born at Marceline on January 10, 1940 to Wilbur G. and Ethel (Lynn) Hustead. Kennie had worked as a depot agent/clerk for the Santa Fe Railroad and was a Marceline resident most of his life. He is survived by his wife Wanda Hustead, Marceline; three sons, Matthew Hustead and Kelsy, University Place, Washington; Larry Hustead and Susan, Laclede; and Floyd Hustead, Marceline; and eight grandchildren, Alannah, Alexis, and Austin, Hustead, Hayley, Bryce and Gunnar Hustead, and Kimber and Brayden Hustead. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother James, and three sisters, Helen Horner, Lorraine Shakespeare, and Norma Schmidt. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Marceline. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Monday, February 2, 2015 at the funeral home in Marceline.
