Lydia Belle (Bloss) Moore, age 78, of Brookfield, died Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield. A funeral service will be Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Wright-Baker-Hill Funeral Home in Brookfield with Pastor Bill Montgomery officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookfield. Visitation will begin Friday at 1:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 in the evening.
Lydia Belle, daughter of Nyle and Dorothy (Neal) Bloss, was born October 24, 1936 in Sumner. On January 15, 1956, she married William “Bucky” Moore who preceded her in death on January 6, 2001. Lydia was a homemaker. She had worked as an x-ray technician at Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield. She also had worked at Garden Gate Florist in Mexico. Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Moore of Brookfield; one granddaughter, Brandie Headrick and husband, Nick of Brookfield; two brothers, Tony Bloss and wife, Linda of Brookfield and Mike Bloss and wife, Barbara of Carrollton; one sister, Linda Watson and husband, David of Paris; two sisters-in-law, Donna Grant of Hamilton and Clara Tanner and husband, Bob of Clarksville, Tennessee; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Her parents, one son, Timothy Moore and one brother, Don Bloss also preceded her in death.
